Download the Earnie app (either via the QR code link on a sign-up poster or through the iOS/Google app store).

Once downloaded, open the app and click on the 'No account? Create one now' button on the login screen. Please then follow the account set up process via the Earnie website.

Once your store has launched Earnie, you must have completed a pick to be able to register with your Picker ID.

The new auto-entry feature in your Earnie Goes Picking app means you don't need to manually enter the weekly competitions, as we will now enter you automatically.

However, you will still need to check back each week to reveal whether you have won, and you’ll continue to see your key performance indicators in the app, as well as any exciting news we have to share.

Please note that if you don't wish to be automatically entered, you can opt out of future competitions by unsubscribing from the app. Or if you would prefer to keep your subscription, you can donate any winnings to charity.

Go to the Earnie app login screen and click the 'Forgotten Password?' button. Enter your registered email address and you will receive an email from Earnie with instructions on how to reset your password.

If you have any missing or inaccurate data within the Earnie app, please speak with your Line Manager. Earnie receives all customer data for use within the app via a secure link with your company's internal data systems.

Possible reasons:

• You haven't picked yet - you must have completed your first pick to be able to register
• Earnie is not live yet - from the time of launch, combined with your completed pick, it can take up to 24 hours for your data to show in the app

If you have won a cash prize from an in-app competition, this will be automatically credited to your wallet within the Earnie app. Cash prizes can be withdrawn at any point individually or in bulk to your personal PayPal account, to your Payslip, or donated to charity via the wallet page on the Earnie app.

You will need to select the payment option each time you wish to withdraw. When you press ‘Withdraw’, this will apply to the full amount available in your wallet. You can withdraw as often as you want, but you will only be able to select one type of payment method in each four-week period. Please refer to the calendar below for each of the locked withdrawal periods.

If you have already selected PayPal once in the current period, you can only select ‘Withdraw to PayPal’ until the next withdrawal period starts. Once the new period has started, you will be able to choose again, but depending on your selection you will be locked into that selected withdrawal type for the relevant period. For example, if you choose to withdraw to your payslip on 10th August, every time you withdraw, you can only select ‘Withdraw to payslip’ until 4th September. If you want to switch to a new method, you can do this from 5th September – when the new withdrawal period starts.

You will be able to donate to charity at any time in the payment period, and future payment options will not be affected.

Payments are processed every Tuesday for any cash prizes you withdraw from your wallet on the Earnie app. Please note that if you withdraw your prize on a Monday or Tuesday (including Bank Holidays), you may not receive the payment until the following Tuesday.

PayPal payments will remain weekly, whilst if you opt for the direct-to-payslip option, you will be paid your winnings every 4 weeks, in keeping with your standard pay date from your employer.

Please check the 'Withdrawal period' dates to see when this will be. Prizes withdrawn during the current lock period will be paid on the following pay date.

For example: to receive your winnings on the 13th October pay date, you have to have requested the withdrawal of your winnings within the previous withdrawal lock period, between 5th September and 2nd October.

All Earnie cash prizes are subject to tax and National Insurance – this means your employer needs to include the prize money that’s been awarded to you on the payroll system. This allows your employer to calculate the correct tax and National Insurance on the winnings so they can pay this on your behalf based on your earnings, tax code, and NI category.
You will see your Earnie winnings listed as a deduction on your payslip as you have already received these winnings through the Earnie app. Please note that Earnie winnings will never actually be deducted from your pay – they simply need to be included on your payslip to allow your employer to pay the correct tax. So, for example, if you won £8 and you have £3.99 as PAYE and NI for these winnings, you would see £11.99 registered in the payments and £8 in the deductions.

If you have tried to claim your winnings via PayPal but were not successful, this is likely because of the following reasons:

• You provided an email address that was not registered to a PayPal account
• The prize arrived in your PayPal account, but you rejected the payment

All unclaimed prizes are returned to Earnie after 30 days. If your prize has been returned to us, you don't need to do anything - we'll add the winnings to your next pay packet, paid by your employer.
